Hello!

I’m Takisha (A.K.A. Ouma).  Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

I am a mother of two and grandmother of one absolutely beautiful grandson.  Currently I am employed full-time. Baking, crafting (handmade cards, acrylic pour art etc.)gardening and photography are my hobbies and my passion.  They provide much needed stress relief. I turn to baking and crafting when I need to block out the world.  I’ve always loved gardening but lately I have become more passionate about it, especially with regards toeing more kind to the planet, limiting food waste and living a more sustainable healthy life. Many years ago I used to be an avid scrapbooker, but I put that aside to pursue baking.  This June (2018) I started dabbling in handmade cards and I have been hooked ever since!  I can literally spend an entire day at my craft table working on cards.

I created OumaCrafts! to share my love of art, crafts, gardening and baking with the world.
